The 9th Annual Classical Stars Recital
And MSOM welcomes KINDERMUSIK!
Muhammad School of Music (MSOM) will host the 9th Annual Classical Stars Recital Sunday, December 16 at 2 p.m. at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, 1300 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, New York (on the Buffalo State College Campus). Advance purchase tickets are $10 General Admission, and 12 years old and under free; at the door purchase tickets are $15. This year's recital will feature solo, duo, and small ensemble performances by the students and faculty of MSOM. MSOM will also be enrolling students for its New 2013 Session, which begins on January 7. MSOM’s unique curriculum features individual lessons, small class sizes, orchestra classes, and performances. Instrumental music instruction for the Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Guitar is available for students age 4 through adult. All playing abilities are welcome.
MSOM is pleased to announce its’ newest program: KINDERMUSIK! KINDERMUSIK is the worldwide leader in music and movement classes for babies and children. MSOM believes all children are musical, and that an early introduction to music is vital for developing a well rounded individual. Studies also show that music helps children succeed in school and beyond. With KINDERMUSIK a young child’s life and love of music is nurtured through fun and exciting songs, role playing, instrument exploration, and movement. Available for ages 2 through 4 years old.

MSOM has been enriching the community with music since 1999! For over 13 years, the school has been serving students from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, the surrounding suburbs, Toronto, Ontario (Canada), in addition to students who travel into Buffalo from all over the country. MSOM also provides violin classes at numerous schools throughout the city of Buffalo and community outreach programs. The MSOM Chamber Players and Maestro Henri L. Muhammad have performed nationwide and have appeared in several television, radio, newspaper, and magazine features, as well as, CD and Video recording projects. MSOM and Henri L. Muhammad have been the recipients of numerous awards and recognition, and have entertained the company of artists such as Wyclef Jean, Jadakiss, Beverly Johnson, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Herbie Hancock, Stephanie Mills, Bill Cosby, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Stradivari Society.
