Patty Meglio
The Madison Art Society presents the artwork of Plantsville artist, Tom Mayer and Northford artist, Patt Meglio. Their artwork will be on display throughout the months of January and February at the Madison Town Hall at 8 Campus Road in Madison, Connecticut. Their collections of paintings are open to the public free of charge and can be viewed during normal business hours.

Plantstville artist, Tom G. Mayer, is a painter and teacher who creates his artwork using various media including oils, acrylics, and mixed media. He spends most of his time from the Spring to the Fall living and painting plein air scenes of the shoreline marshes and beaches around his summer home in Old Saybrook or in Florida during the Winter season. All work exhibited is for sale. For further information, please contact Tom directly at tommayer@sbcglobal.net

Patty Meglio was born and raised in Orange, Connecticut. In pursuit of a lifelong dream, Patty began taking drawing and painting lessons in the late 90s, and in 2003, she began studying painting with local artists, including Marc Antony Massaro in Branford, CT, Terry Oakes-Bourret in Durham, CT, and Hagop Keledjian in Putney, Vermont. She paints mostly in oil on canvas or linen that she carefully prepares herself. Patty’s work is modern impressionist style, mostly depicting country landscapes, seascapes, and still life. Liber Art at SoBoBo Gallery
Benjamin Casiano brings together a group of five artists, Claudio Altesor, Rosa Colon, Hernan Restrepo, Sandra Rossini, and Casiano himself forming "Liber Art." As a group their work flows, connecting creating an energy that abounds. Feeling its pulse you become one with the creations. Individually, each artist is just amazing; from spiritual a connection with Universe, to florals a connection to Earth, from humans and structures to the abstract a psyche of human form.

The public is welcome to an Opening Reception on Thursday, January 5th, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at SoBoBo Gallery, 42 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT. Liber Art will be at SoBoBo Gallery for the month of January 2013. Gallery hours are Thursdays thru Sundays from noon to 6:00 pm. A wonderful way to start off the New Year!
