Höfner concert level cello, 4/4 size. Guadagnini model. Handcrafted from select European tonewoods, this cello embodies the centuries-old German tradition of violinmaking. Using classic techniques, the Hofner violinmakers produce instruments with easy response, full-bodied tone, and sonorous projection. Finished with a beautiful antique varnish which nods to the rich history of Hofner's beginnings in Schönbach. Ebony Parisian eye Swiss pegs, endpin, Aubert “DeLuxe” French bridge, Akusticus tailpiece. Equipped with Larsen Magnacore strings. Based on a slightly shorter, wider pattern by G.B. Guadagnini (1711-1786).
