-- Pirastro viola strings are designed for a vibrating length of 37cm (14.57").
For a vibrating length or 38-40cm (14.96-15.75") Pirastro recommends the soft (weich) gauge. Tonica is available in 40 and 43cm vibrating lengths and the smaller 3/4-1/2 size.
