See a world-class chamber music concert and be home in time for the Super Bowl!

In a lovely concert for a winter afternoon, two engaging young musicians, the harpist Bridget Kibbey and the flutist Claire Chase--both winners of the prestigious Concert Artists Guild International Competition--will offer solo and duo works by Bach, Britten, Paganini, Takemitsu, Piazzolla, and Elliott Carter.

Please join us before or after the concert for a 3-course prix fix lunch or dinner for $33 (tax and tip excluded) at Da Pietro's, 36 Riverside Avenue in Westport. Call Da Pietros to make your reservation at (203) 454-1213.

Art & All That Jazz

Join our Director of Education, Danielle Cavanna, for a lively, interactive, and discussion-based talk on the role and influence jazz played on 20th-century artists, such as Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, and Piet Mondrian.

Reservations are requested, but not required. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Stay creative over school vacation with this 4-day long workshop designed for 6-9 year olds.

In "Architecture, 3D & Design" we will explore modern and contemporary artists and architects and use a variety of mixed-media including paper mache, wood, clay, paint, and wire.

Summer Internships Available
Applications due March 30

The Westport Arts Center provides opportunities for undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students to undertake a 3-5 month long internship in the areas of marketing, visual arts, and education. The internship program is designed as an educational experience in which interns work directly with a staff mentor on a specific project or projects and acquire professional expertise in areas that match their academic background, professional skills, and career goals.

Please donate materials by March 1st


If you have any of the materials listed below hanging around unused in your toy closet, please consider donating them to the Westport Arts Center for our upcoming WACky Family Day.

Old board games, toy game pieces (i.e. dice, small race cars, figurines, cards), puzzle pieces, colored tulle, buttons, buckets, ribbon, shoe laces, and other colorful objects.
