Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is today the more popular name for W.A. Mozarts Serenade No. 13 for Strings in G Major, K. 525. Meaning simply "a little serenade", or literally, "a little night-music", this beloved piece has become one of Mozarts most widely-recognized pieces, even among those who do not normally listen to Classical music. Its four distinct movements each embody a different character - the first movement is a bright Allegro * the second, a beautiful romance * the third, a classic minuet and trio * and the last, a bubbly Rondo.
